Page and Ward Families, West Kerr County #13--Tom Thumb wedding

This appears to be a "Tom Thumb Wedding", an event where young children dress as a bride and groom and reenact the wedding ceremony of Gen. Tom Thumb.  It is sometimes a fundraising event.
This photo was taken at Baker & Smith Mountain Studio, Kerrville.
Mesdames Baker & Smith had a photo studio "Opposite Schreiner's Mill" in 1902 and 1903, so this may be the unnamed children in the 1902 event.

Mentions of Tom Thumb weddings in Kerrville:
Kerrville Mountain Sun, March 8, 1902 at Pampell's Opera House. No other information.
Kerrville Mountain Sun, September 27, 1923.  Miss Imogene Duderstadt played the bride and Harvey Stevens, Jr., the groom.  She wore a "sleeveless draped model with veil. " The groom wore a "conventional black dress suit." This was for a wedding shower honoring September brides Maggie Mae Duderstadt and Annie Fay Stevens.
Kerrville Mountain Sun, March 19, 1931 for the "Willing Workers Class" of the Presbyterian Church. Sara Beth Neely played the bride, Jack Stevens the groom.
